Hi, great job on finishing Lesson 1! I'll be critiquing your work.

Lines

Starting off, great job on your Superimposed lines and only keeping the wavering near the end. Ghosted Lines and Ghosted Planes are good as well, though there's slight wobbliness in your lines and some tend to curve. Keep using the ghosting method to practice on drawing consistent confident lines, I'd suggest adding Ghosted Lines as a warm up when you do future lessons for at least 10 - 15 minutes.

Ellipses

On Ellipses in Planes, your doing good on drawing through your ellipses multiple times but they tend to be very loose some of them aren't touching all sides of the plane. This is also exhibited on your Table of Ellipses where some of your ellipses look loose as well. You tend to draw your ellipses at an angle which can create a slight problem as on the Funnels, some of your ellipses are slightly tilting causing them to misaligned with the minor axis; your funnels also aren't properly aligned with the minor axis throwing your ellipses off even further. https://drawabox.com/lesson/1/14/notaligned Once again, you'll definitely get more practice with drawing ellipses in future lessons and remember to be ghosting your ellipses confidently.

Boxes

Starting with Plotted Perspective, just a slight problem, your hatching lines look wobbly and slightly rushed. This exercise was solely to be done in ruler but overall well done. On Rough Perspective, don't feel the need to redo your lines even if they don't come out as expected, just move onto the next line as if you drew it perfectly. Your lines are wobbling a little bit more in this exercise https://drawabox.com/lesson/1/9/wobbling which may because you're trying to be more careful as you're constructing boxes and are sacrificing your confident line making for more accuracy. Your estimations got better on what I assume is the 2nd page and you'll get better with more practice. Great job on your Rotated Boxes, drawing through your boxes and keeping the gaps consistent. Though I'd advise you to apply line weight with only 1 ghosted stroke on top of the other line; avoid doing doing chicken scratch to apply line weight. Your hatching lines look very rushed and wobbly, I definitely urge you to take time to draw the lines using the ghosted method instead of rushing. Your Organic Perspective is good, the only problem is you exhibit the same problems I've mentioned earlier with redoing lines.

Conclusion

Overall, good job on these exercises, your have good line confidence but kind of lost it in the Box exercises. I recommend doing Ghosted Lines or Ellipses in Planes for at least 10-15 minutes as a warm up practice for future lessons, to focus on working line confidence and solidifying the shape of your ellipses. Also, don't feel the need to redo your lines, take time on hatching, and apply line weight with only 1 stroke. Once again, good job on finishing Lesson 1 and good luck on the 250 Box Challenge !

LINES ARE WOBBLY

ELLIPSES ARE FINE

BUT THE PERSPECTIVE BOXES, U NEED TO GHOST THE BOX TO THE VANISHING POINT AND DRAW, BECAUSE MOST OF THE LINES DON'T LIE ON THE HORIZONTAL LINE.

OTHER THAN THAT GOOD

ALSO, MAKE SURE TO SIT STRAIGHT

DONT BEND OVER

LIFT YOUR ELBOW

AND MAKE SURE YOUR ARMS TO THE TABLE IS NEARLY 90 DEGREE

DO THE EXERCISE I MEAN LESSON ONE EVERYDAY BEFORE 250 BOX ESPECIALLY THE GHOSTED LINES.

AND PLEASE READ THE INSTRUCTIONS OF THE PARTICULAR LESSONS AGAIN AND WATCH YOUTUBE OF DRAWBOX AND STUDENT SCYLLASTEW (YOUTUBER WHO DOES THIS AND DO ALONG WITH HER)

Next Steps:

PLSE DO THE EXERCISE OR LESSON 1 FIRST EVERYDAY BEFORE U SIT FOR THE BOXES

I'm not sure why you're doing your critiques in all caps, but... Please don't do that in the future. You're liable to frighten someone.

When it comes to technical drawing, there's no one better than Scott Robertson. I regularly use this book as a reference when eyeballing my perspective just won't cut it anymore. Need to figure out exactly how to rotate an object in 3D space? How to project a shape in perspective? Look no further.
