Lesson 1: Lines, Ellipses and Boxes
4:41 AM, Tuesday August 4th 2020
Just started and would really appreciate some critique :)
Hi,
You did well. In my opinion U should focus more on ghosting skill, because Your lines look inconvenient, but don't worry U will have plenty time to perfect it. Good job with 2 point perspective exercise. Although I would recommend that you focus on cleaner lines, as i said before. Rest of exercise seems fine especially the "ball from boxes" one. It went well. U can move on . Lesson 2 awaits.
Next Steps:
Before advance to lesson 2 u should now start 250 box challenge. Good luck with that. Try to not be hasty. Make Your lines clean and confident. To help yourself with understanding which plane is were, U can put some extra weight to lines which are closest to U. If U will use Y- technique that Y will be those extra weighted lines. Good luck.
When it comes to technical drawing, there's no one better than Scott Robertson. I regularly use this book as a reference when eyeballing my perspective just won't cut it anymore. Need to figure out exactly how to rotate an object in 3D space? How to project a shape in perspective? Look no further.
