hi quepongo, thanks for submitting your work of lesson 1

at first at Super imposed Lines those are pretty sharp and accurate, and they all start from one point so its impressive

on the gosted lines exercise they are also great, they start on one point and ends in almost the same one so good job

at ghosted planes same, the lines are pretty straight and they are super accurate, good job

at tables of elipses some of them are overlapping the bottom of the squares but they all seem great, there forms are pretty defined and you filled the blank spaces with others elipses so that one is excellent too

at elipses at planes the shape of the elipses are fine and they are draw two times, but some of them arent touching the four corners, but it seems you were trying actually it seems that you improve a lot in this one so good job

at funnels, on funnels there are some that arent aling but you correct them almost inmediatly so good job

same with plotted perspective, there were an amazing use of vanishing points so everything is ok

rough Perspective, the lines were pretty straight and you are following all the steps for it so good job

on rotated boxes, youre drawing trough each box and draw all the boxes plus their gaps are consistent so good job

and at organic perspective everything seems fine, and almost all the boxes are in a dramatic foreshortening plus the lines were pretty straight so good job

your work was amazing, good job :3

hi temo, thanks for submitting your work of lesson 1

at first at Superimposed Lines i there are some lines that are fraying at both ends but just in some lines the others seems to be fine, the other page it really have a great improvement, the starter dot its more clearer in that 2nd drawing, thats great, and most of the lines are free of blowing

on the gosted lines exercise it seems to have some arching lines specially at one border of the page, but it seems you gained more confidence while doing the excercise, that allowed you to have more straight lines, but its important to remember to use your shoulder, that way your lines at the border of the page could improve

at ghosted planes in here everything seems alright so good job on that

at tables of elipses i saw your elipses are touching each border of the table, some of them arent uniform, but as you keep doing it they improve and there are some that arent touching each other, and someones are overlapping, im not sure if its because you did it super fast, but try to slow down the pen a bit, not to much, maybe that way the elipses will be more sharp and uniform

at elipses at planes it seems that most of the elipses were circles and they didnt touched the top and dawn borders of the drawing they seems more like circles than elipses, on the other hand , your second attemp they started to look more similar and uniform, and more like elipses but its important to remind that they should touch each edge, but they still have some errors, like some overlaping, but its amazing to see how your confidence changes some things

at funnels, almost everything its good, they are fitting with each other and align with the minor axis, so from my point of view, this one is amazing

same with plotted perspective, there were an amazing use of vanishing points

rough Perspective, at this this its important to remember that the gosting method it will help you at your confidence, some of the lines are wlobbling and also they are repeated, but try to be much more confident at the moment of draw the lines, and maybe less pressure would be amazing

at rotated boxes everything seems alright the only thing its, that at the extreme corners you didnt draw through that boxes

and at organic perspective everything seems fine, in fact the wobbling from other excercises almost disappeared and almost all the boxes are in a dramatic foreshortening

    Next Steps:

you've done very well, please continue with the 250 box challenge

Steven Zapata's Secrets of Shading

Steven Zapata's Secrets of Shading

Some of you will have noticed that Drawabox doesn't teach shading at all. Rather, we focus on the understanding of the spatial relationships between the form we're drawing, which feeds into how one might go about applying shading. When it comes time to learn about shading though, you're going to want to learn it from Steven Zapata, hands down.
