Good job on completing the lesson and understanding all of the assignments!

Your lines are looking good for the most part! Your lines don't wobble too much so keep executing them with confidence and using your whole arm. I will point out that your superimposed lines do go off their trajectory quite a bit, but this will improve with practice.

You are also doing a good job on the eclipses! They look clean and confident for the most part. The only thing I will point out is that your lines wobble sometimes when you get to the lower part of the eclipse. As long as you keep drawing with your whole arm and be confident all the way through, this will improve.

Finally, you made quite a bit of mistakes in the perspective of boxes. Some lines are diverging instead of converging towards a vanishing point. Don't worry, everybody messes up in this part of the lesson. I can assure you that with the 250 box challenge you will see the mistakes you were doing and you will improve.

Overall you did good work. Do the 250 box challenge and then move on to lesson 2. Remember to do warmups.

    Next Steps:

    Do 250 box challenge

Make sure to include superimposed lines excercise to warmups.

Good job on completing lesson 1. I can see that you understood all of the assignments! For the superimosed lines, the fraying looks rough at the end sometimes but good job on starting on the same point for every line. Your lines wobble sometimes but that will improve with time and practice.

The main issue that I want to point out is the ellipses. They do wobble a lot and they can look pretty rough. There are also issues with the accuracy of your placement but you should focus on confidence first. Try being more confident, dont hesitate, and keep using your whole arm to draw them. I recommend doing tables of ellipses as warmups. As well as ellipses in planes so that you can improve on wobbly lines aswell.

Your boxes also have some issues with perspective, so don't skip the 250 box challenge so you can improve on that. This challenge is also good for improving wobbly lines.

Keep practicing and you will improve! Good luck with the 250 box challenge and lesson 2.

    Next Steps:

Add ellipses tables to your warmups. Move on to the 250 box challenge.

Thanks a lot for your feedback! Yeah the perspective excercises where pretty tough but I hope to improve with the 250 boxes challenge.

Like the Staedtlers, these also come in a set of multiple weights - the ones we use are F. One useful thing in these sets however (if you can't find the pens individually) is that some of the sets come with a brush pen (the B size). These can be helpful in filling out big black areas.

Still, I'd recommend buying these in person if you can, at a proper art supply store. They'll generally let you buy them individually, and also test them out beforehand to weed out any duds.
