Hi, thanks for the reply! I look forward to the future lessons and exercises!

I'll definitely work on getting the right balance when it comes to linework and doing ellipses exercises. Thanks again :)

Hi, thanks for the detailed reply (and for the compliment about my handwriting haha)!

Yep, I definitely struggled with wobbling lines throughout the exercises, so I'll keep in mind to focus on those.

I will say some of the areas where it looks like I was correcting lines was because my pen would randomly start and stop inking, and I re-did them so that it was more consistent. I think I've gotten better about holding my pen just right so that this doesn't happen, but I'll be more conscientious about it in the future.

Should I start the 250 box exercise immediately, or do I have to wait until I get the official completion badge? I'm not entirely sure how this all works, haha.

A lot of my students use these. The last time I used them was when I was in high school, and at the time I felt that they dried out pretty quickly, though I may have simply been mishandling them. As with all pens, make sure you're capping them when they're not in use, and try not to apply too much pressure. You really only need to be touching the page, not mashing your pen into it.

In terms of line weight, the sizes are pretty weird. 08 corresponds to 0.5mm, which is what I recommend for the drawabox lessons, whereas 05 corresponds to 0.45mm, which is pretty close and can also be used.
