Thank you so much especially for telling me what i do not need to stress about. I hear you on the rushing. I think i thought i was just trying to move past my mistakes without fretting but then overshot the mark on that, so to speak, and ended up rushing instead of being mindful. Will continue with warmups, put a giant "be patient" sticker somewhere and trust the process. Have a good one!

And to clarify, I can use all or any of the exercises in lesson 1 as warmupss, correct? So one day I might do a page of ghosted planes and a page of funnels. And another day I would do rotated boxes (a warmup that seems like it needs a warm up tbh) and a table of ellipses. I remember him discussing the "pool" but it wasn't clearly defined.

Here is the revised page with what I hope are some more confident looking lines. In box 2 I accidentally made a mark while ghosting and the box on the far left got all messed up. I was very tempted to do this again and try for fewer wobbly lines, which is my way of saying I really needed to be told not to grind and I enjoy that about this program.
This is a remarkable little pen. Technically speaking, any brush pen of reasonable quality will do, but I'm especially fond of this one. It's incredibly difficult to draw with (especially at first) due to how much your stroke varies based on how much pressure you apply, and how you use it - but at the same time despite this frustration, it's also incredibly fun.
Moreover, due to the challenge of its use, it teaches you a lot about the nuances of one's stroke. These are the kinds of skills that one can carry over to standard felt tip pens, as well as to digital media. Really great for doodling and just enjoying yourself.
