Hi I am going to go over your Lesson 3, first of all congrats at getting back and now,

    Arrows:-

some of your arrows are wonky, not bad but i suggest to be more loose with your hand and you need to keep in mind the perspective, the farther something is the smaller the closer something is the bigger it is,

here check this out for arrows:-

    https://youtu.be/ptV6MOWSaYA

    Leaves:-

They are done well, but i would suggest to do more curve leaves for example :-

    https://youtu.be/T39HglB8KJc

    Branches:-

The branches are done well, nothing much to say here.

    Plants Construction:-

well at least here your leaves are done very well, i don't see a problem here

so have just follow the above link do that before you move on to the next lesson.

    Next Steps:

I am marking this as complete but remeber to check the links above, and good luck with your future lessons

well done everything is done well.

Some things to be mind full of is while doing the superimposed lines some of them have fraying cause your second page from top has that.

I see small amounts of wobbling on the boxes but other than that all is fine.

I agree with APPREHENSIVE_MAN for you to move on.

So I will give this a go to the 250 box challenge.

    Next Steps:

You can move on to 250 Boxes.

    The SuperImposed Lines:-

you seem to get them more often that theres no fraying at the beginning point. so well done with this one.

    The Ghosted Lines:-

some of your ghosted lines have wobbling, and above all missing the point to point connection, so I refer you to this video for help -

    https://youtu.be/YpXhR5w4VbY?list=PLQzfPQVzjLdrWojiWIXmafboPte268aaG

    The Planes:-

due to your ghosted line not being good enough, the problem bleeded into this section as well as you can see the wobbling from point to point while ghosting line and the ellipses are drawn over more than twice and have some wobbling.

but I see your drew some ellipses with confidence so that is good.

again refer to this video -

    for ghosted planes:- https://youtu.be/gv6tufLJ7UY?list=PLQzfPQVzjLdrWojiWIXmafboPte268aaG

for ellipses in the plane:- https://youtu.be/phfYmCZKc8U?list=PLQzfPQVzjLdrWojiWIXmafboPte268aaG

    Ellipse Table:-

here's a thing about this exercise, try making the ellipse more like ellipse than circle because the ellipse are very very much integrated into the future exercise you will do like in lesson 2 an onwards, so i would suggest draw this and ellipses in planes almost every day as an exercise 1 page each is enough and make sure not to rush over and try drawing over the ellipses not more than 2 times.

here is the video I would recommend to do along - https://youtu.be/bsjThiFfbGQ?list=PLQzfPQVzjLdrWojiWIXmafboPte268aaG

    Funnels:-

over all you did well here but somethings to keep in mind

    1. ellipse is always 90 degrees or perpendicular to the minor axis

    2. Minor axis shows the face of ellipse

    3. The ellipses in the middle have small angles meaning we see them less so they will be small or more squished and the outside we go of the funnels the more we see the ellipses meaning ellipses becomes big.

    Video for reference:- https://youtu.be/Kg0LhSRxA-E?list=PLQzfPQVzjLdrWojiWIXmafboPte268aaG

    Rough Perspective:-

Again the ghosted line problems, but you actually were able to land the lines on the horizon line so well done on that.

if you can use different color for the lines towards the horizon line would be helpful to see properly.

    Rotated Boxes:-

This one is well in general hard, but you did well with the allignments towards the vanishing point.

well again the ghosted line problems is showing here.

    Organic perspective:-

well good enough I would say but things you need to keep in mind:-

    1. closer the object the bigger, and farther it is the smaller it is.

    2. Draw your boxes on the line you made not outside because you will clutter it too much

    3. ghosting properly before landing your pen on paper will help you more.

so heres:- the video for reference:- https://youtu.be/CSg1mdzYSlE?list=PLQzfPQVzjLdrWojiWIXmafboPte268aaG

    Next Steps:

I will mark this as complete but for your own good do the ghosting lines, ellipse tables, ellipse in the planes everyday before you star drawing your next exercise being the 250 box challenge.

so good luck in your next challenge.

well since u are a veteran i see you remember your most of the concepts and you know whats hard and whats not.

for the superimpose lines i suggest draw straight lines without slowing then try putting your pen on the starting point again as it well make your muscle memory remember how you did it again.

as for the organic perspective it is more about trying to rote the boxes and the farther they go the smaller they seem and the closer they are the bigger they seem.

i think you should do the 250 box again just to get you back in shape and maybe watch the lessons again, like

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-PUGgS0v-Gw&list=PLQzfPQVzjLdrWojiWIXmafboPte268aaG

you can do along with her.

    Next Steps:

I think you get all the exercises purpose but i would definetly suggesst to do the boxes again so that your muscle becomes good again.

How to Draw by Scott Robertson

When it comes to technical drawing, there's no one better than Scott Robertson. I regularly use this book as a reference when eyeballing my perspective just won't cut it anymore. Need to figure out exactly how to rotate an object in 3D space? How to project a shape in perspective? Look no further.
