Great and thank you so much for the critique!
Great and thank you so much for the critique!
Hi and thanks for the in-depth critique, really appreciate it!
It tried to apply your tips to the new pages of insects. Especially adding forms instead of just altering the silhouette was super helpful, I didn't realize at first that I was doing that.
Anyway here are the pages you've asked for, looking forward to hearing your feedback. Cheers, Gianni

Thanks a lot for the feedback, especially the part about connecting the ellipses with enough overlap and using texture more as communication than decoration while not overdoing it was super helpful! I had real trouble with both of these things during the exercises, so thank you for clearing that up ! :)
Thanks so much for this feedback! The things you pointed out are super helpful, I'll try my best to work in them during future exercises.
Awesome, thanks for the tip and the feedback!
Thanks a lot for the critique, the things you pointed out are very helpful for my future exercises, especially the 250 box challenge which I'm working on right now.
I actually did the ghosted line exercise, but somehow it didn't upload properly, I've re-uploaded it, so it should be there now with the same link. Either way thanks again for the critique, looking forward to uploading the next exercises :)

This is another one of those things that aren't sold through Amazon, so I don't get a commission on it - but it's just too good to leave out. PureRef is a fantastic piece of software that is both Windows and Mac compatible. It's used for collecting reference and compiling them into a moodboard. You can move them around freely, have them automatically arranged, zoom in/out and even scale/flip/rotate images as you please. If needed, you can also add little text notes.
When starting on a project, I'll often open it up and start dragging reference images off the internet onto the board. When I'm done, I'll save out a '.pur' file, which embeds all the images. They can get pretty big, but are way more convenient than hauling around folders full of separate images.
Did I mention you can get it for free? The developer allows you to pay whatever amount you want for it. They recommend $5, but they'll allow you to take it for nothing. Really though, with software this versatile and polished, you really should throw them a few bucks if you pick it up. It's more than worth it.
