    Hey Noah,

Your lines start out OK, but are most wobbly on the planes exercise. Remember that accuracy is less important than confidence, it took me a little to unlearn that.

Your ellipses are pretty good! I'd add a single funnel exercise to your warmup every now and again to keep the skill up between now and Lesson 2.

Your boxes start off shaky, with some serious wobble like in the lines exercise. On the rotated boxes, the upper right box is pretty off, but it looks like you realized that and fixed it because the other three corners are pretty great. The organic boxes exercise also looks great, and your lines are much, much better, though still a touch wobbly.

I'd make sure you keep the lines and planes exercises in your warmup for the forseeable future, and throw in the ellipse funnel when you have the time. The last bits of wobble should be left behind in the 250 boxes challenge, so good luck!

Thanks! I had a lot of trouble with the organic perspective, glad it came out OK.

Ellipse Master Template

Ellipse Master Template

This recommendation is really just for those of you who've reached lesson 6 and onwards.

I haven't found the actual brand you buy to matter much, so you may want to shop around. This one is a "master" template, which will give you a broad range of ellipse degrees and sizes (this one ranges between 0.25 inches and 1.5 inches), and is a good place to start. You may end up finding that this range limits the kinds of ellipses you draw, forcing you to work within those bounds, but it may still be worth it as full sets of ellipse guides can run you quite a bit more, simply due to the sizes and degrees that need to be covered.

No matter which brand of ellipse guide you decide to pick up, make sure they have little markings for the minor axes.
