Hi, I'm going to review your lesson 1

Lines: No major problems, they are smooth and beautiful.

Ellipses: you made good ellipses in general, but some in the tables exercise are pointy and in the funnels exercise their minor axis was a little misaligned with the center line. So be careful.

Boxes: in the rotated boxes exercise, the boxes on the left and right have the same vanishing point, meaning there is no rotation. What I'm going to say is not a mistake, but something you didn't do, which is using line weight.

You did well, I believe you understood the concepts and are ready to continue. Do some of these exercises as a warm-up before drawing

    Next Steps:

Your next step is the 250 Boxes Challenge. Good luck:)

Hi Toadonatoadstool, I'm going to do a little analysis of your lesson.

Superimposed lines: your lines are arched and have fraying on both sides, so you should pay more attention to the beginning of the line and try to curve it in the opposite direction.

Ghosted lines: your lines have a small curvature, but it is smaller than before.

    Ghosted planes: not bad!

Table of ellipse, Ellipses in planes and Funnels: You did well, only some ellipses were a little deformed.

Plotted perspective: OK. These errors are normal.

Rough perspective: you forgot to extend the lines of one of the boxes.

    Rotated boxes: This is great.

Organic perspective: you used line weight in only one of the frames and could have used it in the others. You will improve your boxes over time.

Overall it did well. Don't forget to use these exercises as a warm-up before drawing and reviewing the points I criticized.

    Your lesson is complete.

    Next Steps:

Your next step is the famous 250 BOX CHALLENGE. Good luck :)

Hi MACLENNAN, I'm going to criticize your lesson 1. I'm just going to point out the big problems I found, that is, I'm not going to talk about the exercises that are good.

Tables of ellipses, ellipses in planes and funnels: your ellipses are wobbly. It could be because you do ellipses a little slowly, so increase the speed.

Rough perspective: one of the boxes is extremely crooked.

Organic perspective: you could have done more overlaps and used line weight.

Despite the criticisms, you did lesson 1 very well. I recommend that you do these exercises as a warm-up before drawing.

I marked your lesson as complete.

    Next Steps:

Your next step is the famous 250 BOX CHALLENGE. Good luck :)

    English:

Superimposed lines: not bad, but their lines deviate from their trajectory (it's as if they make curves to return to where they should stop).

Ghosted lines and ghosted planes: I notice that the lines are arched. If you still have this problem, make sure you are drawing with your shoulder and try curving in the opposite direction.

Table of ellipses: good ellipses, but some have a strange shape.

Ellipses in planes: your ellipses are a little better, but there is still deformation.

Funnels: the minor axes are slightly misaligned in some funnels, this happened because you may have got the angle of the center line wrong. Keep practicing ellipses!

    Plotted perspective: not bad!

Rough perspective: this exercise is really difficult. The first page isn't that good, but the second is better. I see that you extended the lines correctly.

    Rotated boxes: WOW! It's great.

Organic perspective: I see that you understand how to use line weight.

I liked what I saw. I think you have a lot of potential to continue improving. Regarding how many pages to draw per day, do it in a way that you feel comfortable with, but stay consistent and apply the 50% rule.

I will mark your lesson as complete.

Table of ellipses: boas elipses, mas algumas têm um formato estranho.

Continue praticando elipses!

    Plotted perspective: nada mal!

    Rotated boxes: UAU!

Hello Gamaga, this is my critique of your lesson 1. As I want to be succinct, I'm just going to point out your errors and problems that I noticed.

Tables of ellipses: a few ellipses did not touch each other on the first page.

Ellipses in planes: on the first page you had difficulty drawing ellipses that touched the four sides of the planes, but on the second page, you did better.

Funnels: the minor axes of the ellipses were a little misaligned with the center lines.

Rough perspective: some lines of the boxes are slightly arched. Be careful.

Rotated boxes: Great work. I think it's worth highlighting that the boxes in the four corners were a little out of place.

Overall, I liked what you did. Know that the exercises that weren't mentioned by me were very good. I didn't mention them because I didn't find any relevant or pertinent errors in it (even the exercises that I criticized were good). Do some of these exercises as warm-ups before you start drawing.

I will mark your lesson as complete.

Hello COFALITO, here is my critique of your lesson 1.

Superimposed Lines: your lines are ok, but they have a slight deviation from the original trajectory, but nothing unusual for beginners.

Ghosted lines: the lines are fine.

    Ghosted planes: good lines!

Tables of ellipses: Your ellipses are really good, but they have a very slight flicker.

Ellipses in planes: I saw that some of them exceed the limit of being drawn 3 times. So be careful with that.

Funnels: Here, the alignments of the minor axes, are fine. Some ellipses are a little deformed. I thought it was cool that you marked the alignment errors. What I said about drawing the same ellipses several times also applies here.

Plotted perspective: I have nothing to complain about.

Rough perspective: this exercise is really quite difficult (I know from experience). But you did this exercise very well. It's normal for some lines to not be so straight.

Rotated Boxes: The boxes on the outermost parts were not rotated as much as they could have been, not giving the overall shape a spherical appearance.

Organic perspective: You could have added more boxes to the frames so there could be more overlap.

Finally, you did the exercises very well. I recommend that you add some of these exercises with warm-ups before you start drawing. I will mark your lesson as complete.

    Next Steps:

Your next step is the famous 250 BOX CHALLENGE. All I wish is good luck :).

    Thanks for the review!

I can tell you that all the exercises were done with the recommended type of pen. What happened is that her ink ran out during the form intersection exercise and I tried to get some more ink in, but the pen got a little weird and stopped working completely after the lesson ended. Despite this I already bought new pens.

I'll take your feedback into consideration especially regarding textures, as the next lessons involve a lot of practice with these concepts in plants and other obejcts constrution.

I certainly still have a lot to learn!
