I agree, Try to ensure that your lines are not wobbly. Be confident when you are doing your line work and don't hesitate too much even if it is at the expense of accuracy. If you want, you can try to use the exercises in lesson as warm up for your line work before moving on.

Hello and congratulations on completing the first lesson.

    LINES

    Superimposed Lines

There is some wobble in the lines you have drawn but overall they are drawn with confidence. Just ensure that you aren’t course correcting as you are drawing, especially on the curved superimposed lines.

There is fraying on both ends especially in the superimposed lines exercise, try to ensure that the lines drawn never fray from the starting dot. Place the pen carefully at the beginning of each line so this does not happen. (https://d15v304a6xpq4b.cloudfront.net/lesson_images/1585f266.jpg) To quote the lesson “Fraying on both ends however suggests that you're not taking the time to position your pen correctly at the starting point of your guideline, and that you're just kind of 'winging' it. The thing about confidence is that it's not without its preparation.”

There is a clear improvement in the 2nd submission of the superimposed lines which is great.

    Ghosted lines

There isn’t much of an arch which is great and the lines are drawn without hesitation, just make sure not to undershoot the lines drawn. The problem with undershooting the lines is improved with the next few exercises.

It is good that all the lines drawn have been clearly plotted with dots.

    Ghosted planes

Gets a bit wobbly at times but overall done well.

    ELLIPSES

    Ellipse Tables

Most of the ellipses have been drawn through at least twice. The ellipses in the table are at times not packed tightly enough leaving gaps in between or sometimes they overlap too much.Try to increase the accuracy of the ellipses drawn by ghosting more until you are ready to commit.

    Ellipse in planes

The ellipses are mostly well drawn.

    Funnels

On funnels, the minor axis (the line in the middle) should cut ellipses in 2 symmetrical halves, however in a few of the funnels they aren’t. Overall the ellipses are spaced out well from one another and keep within the confines of the funnel.

    BOXES

    Plotted perspective

The plotted perspective exercise looks great

    Rough perspective

In the rough perspective exercises the width lines are parallel to horizon and height lines perpendicular to horizon which is great.Just make sure to take note in being confident when drawing your lines, this can be done by plotting dots beforehand and ghosting.

    Rotated boxes

The corners of the boxes are kept close enough and the boxes are rotated mostly accurately

    Organic perspective

There are some mistakes in how the boxes are drawn but these would be worked on in the 250 boxes challenge.

    Hope that my feedback helps.

Pentel Pocket Brush Pen

Pentel Pocket Brush Pen

This is a remarkable little pen. Technically speaking, any brush pen of reasonable quality will do, but I'm especially fond of this one. It's incredibly difficult to draw with (especially at first) due to how much your stroke varies based on how much pressure you apply, and how you use it - but at the same time despite this frustration, it's also incredibly fun.

Moreover, due to the challenge of its use, it teaches you a lot about the nuances of one's stroke. These are the kinds of skills that one can carry over to standard felt tip pens, as well as to digital media. Really great for doodling and just enjoying yourself.
