    Hello Sharkiechai,

Your line flow is nice. In exercises with ghosted lines, the precision was good. The ellipses are soft and accurate. But I see some errors in last page of "Rotated Boxes" lesson. If you made this errors because you were hurried, remember the principles of Lesson 0: Don´t grind! Be patient, the 250 Boxes challenge will require your discipline! However, I believe you are ready to 250 Boxes challenge.

    Next Steps:

    Go to 250 Boxes Challenge

    Hello AlWonder,

Your line flow is good enough for 250 boxes challenge, but i recommend a revision of "Plotted Perspective" lesson. Some boxes are distorted because the lines exceed the vanishing point.

    Next Steps:

    Revision of Plotted Perspective Lesson

1 filled page of Boxes in Plotted Perspective

Complemeting the Ragus critique, i think that your lines are superimposed in some exercises, but the perspective is ok. So, i will recomend warmups to improve muscular memory and other exercise. Remember: dont feel bad when you do mistakes. Its normal, and very necessary to find weaknesses

    Next Steps:

Use ghosted plans for warmups. 10-15 minutes per day

1 filled page of rough perspective, with correct ghosted lines

When finished, reply to this critique with your revisions.

    Hello AzayTay,

Despite of some mistakes in rotated boxes, everything is good. Fell dificulty in any method, exercise?

Nice improvement in ellipses and rotated boxes. Your mistakes are, basically, perspective and lines accuracy, both of that will be improved in 250 boxes challenge.

Don't forget the warmups, and good luck in the 250 boxes challenge

    Next Steps:

    10-15 minutes of Warmups

    250 boxes challenge

    Hello Lucian,

I think that your organic perspective is ok, but you made some mistakes in Rotated Boxes and Elipses. So, my recomendations is:

Try the Rotated Boxes again, including the theory. Some boxes don't rotate completely.

Try the Elipses again. Some elipses don't touch the limits

And warmups. You can pratice ghosted plans with elipses, 10 minutes is sufficient for increase muscle memory.

    Next Steps:

    10 minutes of Warmups

1 filled page of Rotated Boxes

    1 filled page of Elipses

When finished, reply to this critique with your revisions.

The Art of Blizzard Entertainment

The Art of Blizzard Entertainment

While I have a massive library of non-instructional art books I've collected over the years, there's only a handful that are actually important to me. This is one of them - so much so that I jammed my copy into my overstuffed backpack when flying back from my parents' house just so I could have it at my apartment. My back's been sore for a week.

The reason I hold this book in such high esteem is because of how it puts the relatively new field of game art into perspective, showing how concept art really just started off as crude sketches intended to communicate ideas to storytellers, designers and 3D modelers. How all of this focus on beautiful illustrations is really secondary to the core of a concept artist's job. A real eye-opener.
