Wow i totally missed that somehow. Is there a point in trying to differentiating between different shades, like focusing on the darker shadows or should every shadow be counted equally?

Thanks for clarifying a few things, gives me a bit to think about. Might need to see over my perfectionism.
But just rechecking doesn't always give a clear answer. Yes, the dots and lines contain all the information, but I can't parse it.
There have been many times where I've had to choose between multiple options with very little knowledge of the actual difference between them. What could I do in these situations, besides just going with what "feels right"?
Right, but isn't there a point in the process where one has to stop checking and assume the plotted line is correct? There is no calculation that gives a 100% correct assement, so it feels like there is always some guesswork involved. Even plotting towards a vanishing point becomes less reliable on more shallow boxes, at least in my experience.
Thank you.
Seems I uploaded the wrong file, Plotted perspective should be in there now.
Here we're getting into the subjective - Gerald Brom is one of my favourite artists (and a pretty fantastic novelist!). That said, if I recommended art books just for the beautiful images contained therein, my list of recommendations would be miles long.
The reason this book is close to my heart is because of its introduction, where Brom goes explains in detail just how he went from being an army brat to one of the most highly respected dark fantasy artists in the world today. I believe that one's work is flavoured by their life's experiences, and discovering the roots from which other artists hail can help give one perspective on their own beginnings, and perhaps their eventual destination as well.
