Thanks so much for the encouragement and feedback! That makes sense, I was confused by the info on how convergences slow down as the box rotates, so wasn't sure how to convey that.

Will try that on the next go around. All the best on your journey too!

I don't think this is going against the rules! I think I get what you're saying, and I have been doing something similar. You're visualizing the previous line you already ghosted and laid a point out for and then aligning the new dot with that is that right? I would say before you actually draw the line just do a quick check whether that's with ghosting through the trajectory, or rotating the page and looking at the trajectory (or both). You should be good imo

Thanks so much for the detailed feedback.

I'll be sure to keep the points on perspective and ghosting lines without going over them for teh box exercise/hatching.

Will be sure to keep the points you've made about ellipses and other exerices in mind too as I do them in my warmups.

    Best,

    Adi

Steven Zapata's Secrets of Shading

Some of you will have noticed that Drawabox doesn't teach shading at all. Rather, we focus on the understanding of the spatial relationships between the form we're drawing, which feeds into how one might go about applying shading. When it comes time to learn about shading though, you're going to want to learn it from Steven Zapata, hands down.
