Thank you for the criticism, you truly put effort on it!

I agree with all of your points and I see how useful they are. I'll probably do some ellipses exercises soon!

Again, thank you for taking the time, I feel more prepared to start the 250 box challenge now!!

    (Not native speaker)

    Lines:

1 and 2 "Fraying on both ends". I notice that you have many lines in which none of the line's endings seems to alling. "The student should place the pen carefully at the beginning of each line so this does not happen"

3 and 4 "Wobble in lines". You don't seem to be doing confident lines, I have the idea that you are movinf the pen slowly, but is better if you just draw it, don't worry so much about accuracy. Better in 5.

    Ellipses

General "Ellipses must be drawn through ellipses 2 to 3 times". I noticed that many ellipses you've drawn don't look as if you had drawn through before and just started doing the ellipse.

    Boxes

General "Wobble in lines" Same as in Lines

Rotated boxes is a mess, Most boxes don't rotate they are just changing sizes, as well I notice you didn't pay attention on the quantity of boxes, bellow there are 3 lines, above there are 5, when the exercise said you only needed to do 2, I'll tell you to pay more attention to what is written in the exercise for this not to happen again.

Congrats, you've finished the fist lesson!

Ellipse Master Template

Ellipse Master Template

This recommendation is really just for those of you who've reached lesson 6 and onwards.

I haven't found the actual brand you buy to matter much, so you may want to shop around. This one is a "master" template, which will give you a broad range of ellipse degrees and sizes (this one ranges between 0.25 inches and 1.5 inches), and is a good place to start. You may end up finding that this range limits the kinds of ellipses you draw, forcing you to work within those bounds, but it may still be worth it as full sets of ellipse guides can run you quite a bit more, simply due to the sizes and degrees that need to be covered.

No matter which brand of ellipse guide you decide to pick up, make sure they have little markings for the minor axes.
