In most courses what you learn here will be needed in the future. So if I could give you any advice I would focus on drawabox, especially to get comfortable with cylinders and boxes in space placement, as these are the foundations of drawing.

I've been in that place too, I wanted to take portraits or drawing complex things right away, but sometimes it's worth taking a step back to get up to speed, and drawabox will make you get so much more out of each course.

Thank you for your extensive criticism and important information that I can work on.

Do you have any courses to recommend that I could look into during or after drawabox? I am interested in drawing faces, bodies. I can see that the drawabox and perspective course has explained more than I expected, while I can see that I will miss the knowledge of gesture and similar things.

Thank you for such a detailed critique, I appreciate it a lot!

English is not my native language, but I know what you're getting at. I've always had an explanation for everything, but drawabox helps me face it for which I thank you very much. It's not perfect, but it's certainly better. And I'm not just talking about drawing here, but also about other things.

This time I tried my best to not rush and think everytime when i put something on the paper with diffrent results as u can see.

I have the most trouble combining solids into one forms so that they intersect and create new shapes. Very often I don't see them properly beforehand, only when I make a mistake do I see how a particular shape was supposed to look like.

So should I in my warm-ups focus most on Organic and form Intersections more?

I watched the whole lesson again, and tried to think about how the forms wrap in relation to each other, but I honestly don't quite have my imagination figured out yet. Maybe more supporting lines would influence the illusion to be even better? I was afraid that the exercise wouldn't be very clear and I would get lost. Also I would like to ask for advice on how to practice this in the future, what exercises to pay most attention to during warm-ups if I can move on of course.

First of all, thank you for your extensive review of my progress. I will not hide the fact that this lesson was difficult and frustrating for me hence I rushed through some of the exercises unintentionally. I will try to spread out the exercises over more days next time.

Below I am sending the exercises that you gave me. I tried to do them as slowly as possible to understand as much as possible, but unfortunately I think that the exercise with organic shapes still does not look like it should. I just don't seem to fully understand how. I'll try it again if I have to, because I want to understand everything exactly.

    Hello!

Thank you for grading my assignments. I did the rotated boxes from scratch because I felt it would be better for me to understand what is included in this lesson and I have to admit I started to rush but i did my best.

Faber Castell PITT Artist Pens

Like the Staedtlers, these also come in a set of multiple weights - the ones we use are F. One useful thing in these sets however (if you can't find the pens individually) is that some of the sets come with a brush pen (the B size). These can be helpful in filling out big black areas.

Still, I'd recommend buying these in person if you can, at a proper art supply store. They'll generally let you buy them individually, and also test them out beforehand to weed out any duds.
