Wow!! I'm blown away you've done an amazing job with your homework! The only thing I could possibly pull you up on is that the ellipses in the planes look a lil wobbly, as if you took your time with them, when you should be trying to do them smoothly even if it means they're less accurate

have you done drawabox before? because you're really good!

Hey! Good job on starting, keep up the good work

Your superimposed lines are good! Just keep working on them as practice and such, but then it comes to your ghosted lines and ghosted planes, there's a LOT of wobbling. Smoothness comes first, then accuracy. So when you're doing your lines and such, don't beat yourself up whether or not you hit the dot or not, just make sure the line is smooth, because accuracy comes with practice and with time.

Good luck with it all!! It's hard work, but it's SO worth it!

Heya! You're doing great! Superimposed lines look good, they will straighten out with a lot of practice, but for beginning this is great! a small bit of wobble in some of the later lines, the main concern in the ghosted lines, there's a decent bit of wobbling and arching on some of the lines, remember that you're trying to be smooth with the lines, accuracy right now is only secondary and if you miss the point but got a smooth line, then you're doing good!

Overall you're doing great, keep up the amazing work!! I believe in you C:

Heya! So yeah, my opinion would be to start lesson 1 again, so much time has elapsed that it would make a great refresher and it wouldn't do any harm! There's actually new videos that umcomfortable has released so the resources have improved since you last tried!

HOWEVER, all that being said, if you feel like you still grasp certain things, like superimposed lines and whatnot, you could skip over that, and if you draw boxes in planes and understand perspective and whatnot, you could move on! It's really up to yourself, but that's just my opinion haha

You're very welcome!! keep up the amazing work!!

yeah you're right!! I may put up some of my own stuff now, just to show my little progress haha

Thank you so much for critiquing my work, I really needed it because honestly it's very easy to get so absorbed in what you're doing that some glaring issues don't appear to you, you know? So yeah I will try to work on the ghosted lines, I am always doing my best from working from my shoulder, but yeah I hope I haven't been screwing it up this whole time? I watched the video on how to use your arm at the beginning, and then again maybe a quarter of the way through the lesson again just to make sure I was getting it right. But yeah the pen I'm using is actually a 0.3mm fine pen, I accidently bought blue when I got it, I didn't realise haha, so I've bought a black pen since but yeah, anyway thank you so much!! this means a lot to me

Hey! I'll divide it up into therespective homework

    1) The ellipses look really good!! I don't have anything critical to say about them! You have the smoothness down, now you just have to get the accuracy (but that comes with time and patience haha, I'm not even there)

    2) Planes look good! but I must ask are you rotating the page the whole time? on some of the planes that are close to the border of the page have a little bending on the lines, but the centre planes are very straight and accurate

    3) funnels are good! Try keeping them nice and compact and snug against each other, but you aren't breaking the funnel lines, so that's really good!

Overall you're doing brilliant, and you can keep moving on with the rest of the lesson! Good luck and God Bless!!

How to Draw by Scott Robertson

When it comes to technical drawing, there's no one better than Scott Robertson. I regularly use this book as a reference when eyeballing my perspective just won't cut it anymore. Need to figure out exactly how to rotate an object in 3D space? How to project a shape in perspective? Look no further.
