    Hi Jamesc01

1.There seemed to be a bit of wobble with the second ghosting method excercise, keep in mind that the excercise prioritices confidence over accuracy. Keep lines sharp and straight and dont worry too much about missing the dots

2.with the wormhole ellipses your rotations were a bit off towards the middle, this was causing the major axis to be a bit off centre in the middle

    1. With the cube rotation excercise(the ones that form the circular shape), i can see you had a problem with keeping the cubes consistent while rotating them, be more conscious of the surrounding cubes next time u meet a similar excercise

Aside these the rest of them are minor things u become better at with practice. Move on to the next excercise.

    All the best

    Next Steps:

    Move on the next excercise

    Hi there Yizi.

1.I can see in the conneting dots with the line, u had an a problem with the longer lines arching towards the end. I suggest u keep using your shoulder pivot, you will develop mucsles that will make it easier with time.

    1. You also had a slight problem keeping the ellipses within the table on the first sheet, be more conscious of the borders if you apprach a similar excercise.

3.In the rotation boxes exercise your boxes weren't rotated towards the edges, u kept the same vanishing lines as the boxes before them. I think u were too concerned with loosing the overall circular shape.

Aside that i think u did well with the perspective, the rough perspective gets better with time. U can move on to the next excercise

    Godspeed

    Next Steps:

Keep the above critique in mind and move on to the next excercisd

Thanks for the feedback, my mistake on the rough perspective, I was super confused and hadn't discovered the reddit yet, I had been posting in pieces. But I'll keep everything in mind moving forward

The Art of Blizzard Entertainment

While I have a massive library of non-instructional art books I've collected over the years, there's only a handful that are actually important to me. This is one of them - so much so that I jammed my copy into my overstuffed backpack when flying back from my parents' house just so I could have it at my apartment. My back's been sore for a week.

The reason I hold this book in such high esteem is because of how it puts the relatively new field of game art into perspective, showing how concept art really just started off as crude sketches intended to communicate ideas to storytellers, designers and 3D modelers. How all of this focus on beautiful illustrations is really secondary to the core of a concept artist's job. A real eye-opener.
