    Hello Cornball

I will properly read though all the instruction that I can find on discord. At least I now know which channel I should post in. I am thankful for your help: the answer to my question with useful tips, the review of my homework, as well as the agreement. With this I can move on!

    Have a great day!

Hello, thank you for coming back to answer my question. My question was more based on curiosity rather than doubt. I wanted to see my improvement "through your eyes" and thus know were to work on as well. I'll take your word for it and go with the flow ;) You have my gratitude!

    Hello Slashcash29

After thinking it through I have one last question:

Could you please point out where exactly I have improved?

Because to be honest, to me my initial homework and the extra task kind of look the same.

    Kind regards,

    NekoMello

YAY!!! I'm so happy. It is also good to know I can relocate a dot, even in the earlier exercises. (For the later exercises I did move dots, because it was shown in the videos).

I'm very grateful for your advise and time. I wish you a pleasant drawing journey!

Alright! I will do that with the hatching. Thank you for the tip.

    I completed my task: https://imgur.com/a/MHOEhk0

Side note about my execution: Once a dot was placed I worked with it. Even when it was not neatly underneath the dot above, for instance.

I opted fast strokes like you suggested. It however made my line spiral out of control. So I used a pace that worked for me. It's decently fast but not like super Sonic fast.

Thank you in advance for your time and effort. Pointers are always welcome!

Thank you for the feedback. I really appreciate it. I will work on the page right away.

Did I understand your feedback correctly when I say (but in my words):

    • The intention (dots) for my boxes are alright, but I do not execute the box as my intention indicates.

    • I need to straighten my lines.

If I misunderstood or missed something in the conclusion, feel free to correct me or use examples.

I'll be working on that page then. Have a great day, Slashcash29!

Marshall Vandruff's Perspective Course

Marshall Vandruff's Perspective Course

Marshall Vandruff is a ubiquitous name in art instruction - not just through his work on the Draftsmen podcast and his other collaborations with Proko, but in his own right. He's been teaching anatomy, gesture, and perspective for decades, and a number of my own friends have taken his classes at the Laguna College of Art and Design (back around 2010), and had only good things to say about him. Not just as an instructor, but as a wonderful person as well.

Many of you will be familiar with his extremely cheap 1994 Perspective Drawing lectures, but here he kicks it up to a whole new level.
