Thank you! I wanted to do more with it but time constraints :( The mental image of Ash and Pikachu appearing in a dinosaur world and immediately trying to battle/catch them was really funny to me, though xD
Aw, thank you!
I'll take that as a good thing, thank you! :)
If you've done all of lesson 1 (including the lines, ellipses and box sections) then be sure to submit all of that in 1 submission (not a partial submission). That way it'll show up in the list and someone can critique you.
Wow, that was pretty quick! Thanks a lot :D
Hey, thank you for your feedback! It was really motivating to read through (which I can use since I'm about to draw 250 boxes, lol) and I appreciate the tips you gave. You are absolutely right on the occasional wobbles at the end of a line - for some reason every now and then I feel uncertain towards the end of a line and it immediately shows. I'm trying to work on it :')
You make a good point about the plotted perspective - I vaguelly remember seeing somewhere in an example that the lines didn't go all the way to the VP and figured I could keep them shorter to prevent stuff from getting cluthered and then probably started making them even shorter while drawing. Looking back at the example homework, I must have misremembered so thank you for pointing that out. Rest assured I did make sure my ruler was on the VP :p
The foreshortening is still a little fuzzy but every time I read that page it becomes a little bit clearer, so hopefully I'll get there one day :')
Thank you again for the great feedback and advice!
This is a remarkable little pen. Technically speaking, any brush pen of reasonable quality will do, but I'm especially fond of this one. It's incredibly difficult to draw with (especially at first) due to how much your stroke varies based on how much pressure you apply, and how you use it - but at the same time despite this frustration, it's also incredibly fun.
Moreover, due to the challenge of its use, it teaches you a lot about the nuances of one's stroke. These are the kinds of skills that one can carry over to standard felt tip pens, as well as to digital media. Really great for doodling and just enjoying yourself.
