First im sorry about the image angle im unsure whats wrong with my phone. I always take the photos in an angle which dont need rotation but when i upload they get changed up >_>

Also about the plants, all of them except the first plant page are drawn using references I just didnt think it was needed to link the references as well.

I'll try to get the other 4 plan drawings done soon :)

Glad to help. The most improvement comes when you are critiqued by other people and you learn from it.

    Keep at it :)

Hello I'll be reviewing your work.

Ok so first of all i can say there's huge improvement on your drawings, less wobbly lines, straighter lines etc. Good job! I can also see improvement on your spacial imagination. One thing id appreciate would be if you drew less boxes in 1 page 4 would be preferable.

I think you have done a great job but i feel like your box VPs are always so close to the box itself, which makes me want to see how your boxes will look if the VP is further away. Please draw another 2 pages of boxes with VPs being further away from the boxes itself and resubmit only those 2 pages. I don't really have anything else to add.

    Keep at it.

    Next Steps:

2x more Pages with boxes where the VP is lot further away from the box

Hello I'll be reviewing your work.

First of all i notice your line work is comfortable though some of your lines are wobbly such as the funnels and the boxes exercises. This can all be fixed with more practice though.

You try to stay away from drawings that have an angle to them from what i can see. Your parallelograms are all facing the viewers eyes and none of them has an angle to them. This is also fixable with more practice .

However one thing i really wanted to point out was your rough perspective, you haven't understood this lesson at all. Your red lines aren't meant to go towards the horizontal line, but instead the VP which means your boxes will always have an angle to them (what you struggle with). Reread the lesson again and assign 2 more pages of rough perspective.

Your organic perspective is also off, your boxes are all the same size which creates the illusion of them all being in the same distance. The point of this exercise is to create a sense of distance to the viewer by changing the box sizes. 1 more page of organic perspective.

    Good luck, ?????

    Next Steps:

    2x Pages Rough Perspective

    1x Page Organic Perspective

    Hello

    I'll be reviewing your homework.

It seems that you are fairly comfortable with the pen, but that starts to collapse as soon as you move into drawings you arent familiar with. Rough perspective, Rotated Boxes etc.

This lesson is mostly meant to teach you how to draw confidently and with less wobbly lines.

It seems you have struggles quite a bit with rough perspective which i won't assign extra work for because it does seem that you have understand the main idea of how the lesson works. You try and keep your boxes as normal looking as possible while trying to get your red lines to go straight to the VP. You will get more practice on this in the 250box challenge.

I can also see improvement on your organic perspective, your first page is off looking but you steadily improve on the 2nd page.

Please keep at drawing with your shoulder during your warmups and stay confident even in lessons you aren't comfortable at. Overall i consider this lesson finished even.

Please move on to the 250 Box Challenge next before tackling lesson 2. Good luck ???

Hello, i'll be reviewing lesson 1 for you.

First thing i noticed is that your lines are really confident, props for that.

You seem to have problems drawing circles in different positions, your circle boxes are entirely made of 1 style. They don't seem wobbly at all but it seems you aren't confident on trying other ways of drawing circles or just didn't bother with it. However I won't assign another page because i feel that you can always fix this by drawing more circles during warmup.

On the other hand your Funnels small axis aren't properly drawn (i suppose you did this for aesthetics?) all of them are shorter than needed. Please stick to the things explained in the lessons, and follow them properly. You have the basic idea down of how this exercise works though.

Same thing for the Plotted Perspective lesson, your lines aren't drawn all the way to the VP, which you should definitely do.

Overall a work done well, it seems you understood all the lessons even though you try to make lessons fun for yourself, keep it to a minimum. These exercise are supposed to drawn as shown

Good luck with your 250 Box Challenge. I definitely recommend going for Box Challenge before lesson 2.

    Hello

    I'll be reviewing your work

First thing i notice is that you are putting too much pressure on your ink pen, and its sometimes leaving blank marks behind. You don't need to put too much force on your pen.

Lessons up until funnels are well made then it seems like you are having problems where everyone else also struggles the first time.

Your rough perspective boxes are really off, i feel like you didn't understand the idea behind VP's or this lesson. Your red lines need to go as close as possible to the VP while keeping the box normal (not looking weird, some of yours are really wobbly and off looking).

Lastly the point of the Organic Perspective lesson is so that you understand how distance works in drawing. The further away an object it's size will be reduced. All your boxes here seem really close to each other which gives the illusion of everything being really close to the viewer.

Overall you have done well in lesson 1 but you need to draw 2 more pages and ill consider this lesson finished.

    Next Steps:

    1x Page of Rough Perspective

    1x Page of Organic Perspective

When finished, reply to this critique with your revisions.

These are my favourite sketchbooks, hands down. Move aside Moleskine, you overpriced gimmick. These sketchbooks are made by entertainment industry professionals down in Los Angeles, with concept artists in mind. They have a wide variety of sketchbooks, such as toned sketchbooks that let you work both towards light and towards dark values, as well as books where every second sheet is a semitransparent vellum.
