Thank you For the explanation
Thank you For the explanation
yeah, i always burden myself with that and i wanted to throw it away since i'm easy to be influenced and that made me frustrated because of that, but right now i'm doing warming up with a 0.8 fineliner is it okay since the 0.5 fineliners are alrwady run out
Thank you for the response, i'm am still having a hard time in the shoulder and the line weight but i'm almost getting the hang of it thank you
MOve to the 250 Box Challenge
Next Steps:
I'm marking this lesson as complete now because of the revision submission taht you assigned yasterday.
Ghosted Planes
they are all are really great, you build your confidence allong the way and i did notice that in the second page of the exercise
?
Ellipses On Planes
Most of them are good enough considering their smoothness and eveness of the ellipses, and some are a bit to wacky like the ellipses in the half part of the planes don't fill in the most part of the planes and make the ellipses look a bit like an aliens head
?
but, overall you have already done a good job on this lesson and i hope your good luck on the next lesson, which is the 250 box challenge
(sorry For my bad english)
Next Steps:
Super Imposed Lines
There are nothing to say here, You challenge yourself halfway through and you manage to do a clean satisfying lines
Ghosted Lines
It seems clean and i have nothing to say here
Ghosted Planes
It is so satisting to see how clean this is you have musch more confidence in doing this and really get this
Tables of Planes
For the most part this is incredible, although i suggest to vary the orientation of the ellipses to see how much you could see the ellipses rotate
Ellipses in Planes
Pretty much you understand most of this , there is nothing to say here
Funnels
You manage to maintain the ellipses in the minor axis, there are not much to say here
Plotted Perspective
There is nothing to say here
Rough Perspective
Nothing to say here again, there is not a single mistake seen
Rotated Perspective
There are rotated and doesn't seem to have any kind of mistake
Organic Perspective
Your perspective are spot on, And doesn't have any kind of mistake
(I'm sorry if this is doen't help you and unimformative, because through out my critique i see none of those mistakes here and there and you seem to undestand it more than i do when i fisrt started)
(sorry For my Bad English
Next Steps:
Super Imposed Lines
It looks okay for the most part and there are no fraying on both ends, but it still looks wobbly you don't have to revision this i just want to suggest to take this exercise as a warm-up for the next drawing session
Ghosted Lines
This looks incredible it seems that you challenge yourself to do a more longer lines this is good to challenge yourself to draw with the whole arm especially your shoulder. No revision here
Ghosted Planes
Although there are some wobbly lines here and there your planes are actually seems fine for the most part, but there are seems no dot on the lines that bisect the middle of the planes and this miight be a problem, because it can lead to confusion on where to put the bisecting lines in the middle of the planes that have already bisected by the"X" one. i request for a revision here
Tables of Ellipses
this is a bit messed up, there are more wobbly in this one and a little bit of confidence. Are you a bit afraid to do a mistake? Althogh the second page of the ellipses are fine, there are still more wobbly for the most part. I don't request a revision for this, but i will give you a bit of suggestion:
~Do this as a warm-up
~you wanted to utilize the ghosting method with this
~when you are starting, do it at a slower pace first until you find your comfortable velocity to touch the paper
~draw the ellipses 2-3 times, more than that consider a mistake
Ellipses in Planes
these are even ellipses, but the wobbliness of the ellipses distract me to judge the eveness of the ellipses. i wanted a revision of this considering the wobbliness and you drawing the ellipses that seem more than 3 times. My suggestion are all in the Top in the Tables of ellipses
Funnels
Seems fine for the most part, you maintain the ellipses with the minor axis and there are no execive spacing between it, but i would suggest you to vary the orientation of the ellipses it will give you a challenge on how to see the minor axis from a different angle of ellipses
Plotted Perspective
Nothing to say here
Rough Perspective
Nothing to say here your rough perspective are incredible, Although there are one repeating lines. There are still incredible
Rotated Perspective
Again nothing to say here, Your boxes are rotated
Rough Perspective
These are some nice boxes although there are some mistakes, but there are far less than the undestandable ones
Revision Recap
~Ghosted Planes
~Ellipses on Planes
(I'm sorry for my language, because english isn't my mothers native tongue)
Next Steps:
(This is my take on your work, if you find it uninformative you could correct me if i'm wrong)
Super Imposed-Lines
I'm impress of how well you draw it especially with the longer ones, it seems your already confident enough (or more confident) to continue there are no mistake done here
Ghosted Lines
still impress on how you made the lines seems on point with the dot and there are seem like no overshooting in it, i would just suggest that do this as a warm up sometimes and draw a more longer ones than you have in the page
Ghosted Planes
these are really good planes, but it seems like you don't place any dots in the lines that bisect the planes, for me this is a no because i have tried it before and it is likely that i don't have any idea to how am i suppose to bisect this and where should i end the lines when i don't even know where? for the most part it is really good but i would suggest the steps that has been given from the course to do as a warm up in your drawing session if you wanted to make some of your artworks
Tables of Ellipses
it seems like you understand most of it, the ellipses are confident and smooth and i could see some improvement in the second page although you could risk some mistakes that comes when you are trying to be confident and that is the role of ghosting to anyway. it seems good i don't need anything to say here
Ellipses in Planes
don't have anything to say here. You manage to intersect with the 4 points in the planes and your ellipses are even, smooth and confident
Funnels
Man... you look like a master in the ellipse section. Your ellipses manage to sustain with the minor axis and it is on point with the middle of the ellipses that the minor axis wants
Plotted Perspective
Don't have anything to say here
Rough Perspective
Although your lines are wobbly, it seems like you undestand most of it and the lines are confident or is it feels a little bit uncomfortable for you?
Rotated Perspective
Although there are one box missing in each corner, your undestanding of this exercise didn't lose you the box are rotated and it looks fine to. There are some repeating lines (which are you don't want to do because it could ruin your line weight you have build up and the solidity of the form) there are still undestandable
Organic Perspective
There are no mistake in this one your perspective are shallow which not a mistake in this one and you have a good undestanding on the box form already
not necessary you can just post just your redo in the comments and i would gladly look at it
Feel Free to move to 250 boxes, and good luck
Next Steps:
Hello, this is my take of your work so feel free to question or somewhat disagree with me, and if you find it unimformative please let me know
Super-imposed Lines
all of your lines are great it follows the rules and doesn't seem that you made a mistake on it, i recommend you to do this exercise as a warmup if you wanted to start a drawing session it will boost your confidence in drawing what you want in that session and be sure to extend the lines more and more to give some challenge to it
Ghosted Lines
i'm just impressed with this don't have anyting to say here
Ghosted Planes
again, don't have anything to say here, this is incredible
Tables of Ellipses
it looks like you don't have any mistakes in this one it overall looks awesome,
Ellipses in Planes
i'm impress of how you made this looks even especially you nailed it at reaching the 4 points of the planes, but it seems that you draw your ellipses more than 3 times, this can ruined your smoothness and make the ellipses looks more messier than it should be but don't over draw it next time , but overall you did a great job.
Funnels
you maintain your ellipses in point with the minor axis and it doesn't seem to have any much of a mistake than before it looks really beutiful
Plotted Perspective
Calming boxes with a beutiful lineweight as an addition, There is no mistake in this
Rough Perspective
in the first page of the exercise it seems you have a hard time making the lines converge to the vanishing pint, but with the second page however it seems you have mush more control over it and have a lot more solid foundation to it, there is one critique from me however is that the repeating lines that you have in the fisrt page of the exercise are ruining your boxes solidity and that is why the first page looks messier next time don't repeat any lines, and just accept that it is a mistake and you will overcome it sometimes in drawing you will utilize those mistakes
Rotated Perspective
i'm just jealous on how you could manage to sustain a straight lines in this exercise, there are no mistakes here the boxes are rotated and it looks like it is going to attack me HEEEELPPP!!!
Organic Perspective
There are no mistakes here only just repeating lines, but it doesn't affect as much as the rough perspective ones GOOD JOB!
thanks for the information
Like the Staedtlers, these also come in a set of multiple weights - the ones we use are F. One useful thing in these sets however (if you can't find the pens individually) is that some of the sets come with a brush pen (the B size). These can be helpful in filling out big black areas.
Still, I'd recommend buying these in person if you can, at a proper art supply store. They'll generally let you buy them individually, and also test them out beforehand to weed out any duds.
