    LINE

Your lines look good for the most part. A good number look confident. In the superimposed lines exercise it looks like you are drawing them with speed which is great. On the curved lines I notice some lines are wobbly or do not flow. You are probably going slow with them. Remember you ghost the line a couple of times until you are confident with the motion, then once condfident with the motion, place the fine-liner at the start of the line and with one fast motion, draw in your line. So next time make sure to draw it in with a bit more speed, adjust as you see fit. Or you may not be drawing from the shoulder for those lines as they may be hard but remember to draw from the shoulder.

Your ghosted lines look good. nice and confident. A few wobbles but I with practice you will improve.

The ghosted planes look okay too. Keep ghosting and drawing with speed.

    Ellipses

Your ellipses should be drawn through a minimum of twice and maximum of thrice.thrice some of yours I see two in the table of ellipses exercise that are drawn through more than thrice. Some of your ellipses look better than others, remember you first ghost the ellipse where you will place it until confident with the motion then draw it,drawing through twice or thrice. The ellipses which are wobbly or have corners are a result of non confident strokes where I assume you don't follow through with your ghosted motion but correct the ellipse while drawing it. So remember to ghost the ellipse and then draw it in.

In the table of ellipses I see a couple of ellipses overlapping, they should be touching and not overlapping. They are however touching the borders in most cases so thats great.

The ellipses in the funnels should be touching, I see some that have space between them.

    Boxes

All of your boxes look good. In the rough perspective exercise it can help to remember that the vertical lines of the boxes are perpendicular to the horizon and the horizontal lines of the boxes are parallel to the horizon.

In the organic boxes and rotated boxes I see a few lines you drew over, remember plan, ghost then draw if it comes out wrong move on.

Overall not bad, you may move on to the 250 box challenge, and remember to do warm-ups and rereading the exercises helps too you may learn something you skipped. https://drawabox.com/lesson/0/3/warmups

    Good luck

good work on completing lesson one

    Lines

Superimposed lines look good, it looks like you ghosted your lines well before drawing them. They also taper only on one side which will get better with time. You should ghost the lines then draw them in but when drawing them in make sure to place your fineliner on the start of the line. It seems some of your ghosted lines start around the area of the start of the line but you should place your fineliner down on the page and then execute the motion, many of the lines are done like that anyway so good job. Overall good confident lines. The ghosted lines look confident and ghosted good job. The lines of the planes are also good.

    Ellipses

The ellipses in the table are confident and most are nice and touching. Make sure to ghost all your ellipses and there are no gaps between them. They should be touching their bounds and not overlapping them, ghost them in the place you want to drawn them , small, large or narrow. Then once confident with the motion put pen to paper and draw them in. I can tell you struggled with the small ellipses, just keep ghosting and drawing them and you will get better with time. Same for the narrow ellipses I can see some of them are pointed at the top and wobbly so make sure to ghost them. The ellipses in the ghosted planes are confident, The accuracy can be improved by ghosting your ellipses if you are not already doing so. On the funnels I see a gap between ellipses and I see some ellipses that overlap. Ellipses here should be touching.

    Boxes

rough perspective looks good, remember here that the vertical lines of the boxes are perpendicular to the horizon and horizontal lines are paralell to the horizon. Plotted perspective looks good. good rotation on the rotating boxes, do not repeat lines, draw only one line and if the lines is off move on to the next like. Do not draw the line again. Organic perspective looks good, here again I see some lines drawn over, plan plot and draw your lines, if the line is off then move on.

Overall I think you can move on the 250 box challenge, good luck

Sorry for the late reply, got flooded with schoolwork, I mean the ellipses on a blank page not in a table. Just a page filled with ellipses touching, drawn randomly. Like a pool table with balls but all different sizes.

Yeah Honestly , even go in all speed. Once confident accuracy is easier to come by I think. There is a fear tho of being inaccurate but honestly just dont worry about it I think you can take the exercises as a sandbox, experiment( of course do the lessons as they are said to be done but if it is something you are working on dont be afraid to try all sorts of crazy things)

Remember to warmup and also I think if you got the concepts down then good. https://drawabox.com/lesson/0/3/warmups

From how they look if you are using your shoulder and ghosting them until confident with the motion then you are not drawing the line fast enough. Ghost until confident with the line then in one sharp fast stroke draw it in. Try adding more speed, experiment with the amount of speed you add.

Can you show a picture of how the lines looks if you can. I think you will get better with practice, keep at it . I looked as your submission and you struggled with the rough perspective. I think maybe you are not approaching these lines as you do the ghosted lines. Thats why working line by line makes it easier( as in when drawing in the lines, take your time to plot ghost and execute your line)

Faber Castell PITT Artist Pens

Faber Castell PITT Artist Pens

Like the Staedtlers, these also come in a set of multiple weights - the ones we use are F. One useful thing in these sets however (if you can't find the pens individually) is that some of the sets come with a brush pen (the B size). These can be helpful in filling out big black areas.

Still, I'd recommend buying these in person if you can, at a proper art supply store. They'll generally let you buy them individually, and also test them out beforehand to weed out any duds.
