Hi, Thanks for the insightful review of my Homework!

You are completely right that I shouldn't have drawn over the whole construction, I actually started to use the more heavy lineweight for myself to identify some areas were I was 100% sure that the line needs to be, so that I understand the whole Confusing cluster of lines more.

However I really overdid at the point where I started to make the drawing more presentable for my self so that it sticks more out from the drawing.

Its funny how you do things subconsciously and only notice something wrong if somebody shows the flaws!

Again Thank you very Much it helped really a Lot!

Thanks for the reply, your analysis about my mindset was very insightful, I will try to learn from my mistakes and the way I look at my drawings.

    Thanks for the critic!

It really made my day to read such a good written criticism!

I will keep the things that you mentioned in mind and I'm going to practice these.

I used for the lighter Construction Lines an almost dry Fin liner and I will stop with that from now on.

And I will definitely try to only draw the Cast shadows from now one, I thought I should Include them because this lily was very Dark on some Parts, but I know better know!

Thanks for the Critic It was really useful!

    Hi,

and Thank you for the awesome critic! ^^

With these 10 other boxes that I drew, I learned a lot more than with the ones I used to draw.

Your criticism has really brought me a lot to improve!

My old pattern was that I just drew the boxes so that it was behind me and I didn't get heavily involved in the analysis.

With the fact that I only drew the boxes and didn´t analyze them much I have only learned a little and much more slowly than when you carefully consider each line.

But the post from Uncomfortable was especially dear to my heart, where he wrote about hesitation and how strong this is a problem overall and for me.

I still hesitated sometimes, but it improved overall.

And also to lift my hand up from the canvas was really usefull to draw the lines!

So thank you very much for the criticism so far, it has helped me a lot!

(And sorry for the bad english, i´m not a Native speaker)

    Best Regards

    Hi,

I need to confess I straight up forgott to draw the boxes on the rotated box exercise, ups...

For the Ghosting Methode I want to draw faster and so I am trying to draw without the dots, but I still use it for Warm ups or if I am confused.

And Thanks for the Feedback :D

Pentel Pocket Brush Pen

Pentel Pocket Brush Pen

This is a remarkable little pen. Technically speaking, any brush pen of reasonable quality will do, but I'm especially fond of this one. It's incredibly difficult to draw with (especially at first) due to how much your stroke varies based on how much pressure you apply, and how you use it - but at the same time despite this frustration, it's also incredibly fun.

Moreover, due to the challenge of its use, it teaches you a lot about the nuances of one's stroke. These are the kinds of skills that one can carry over to standard felt tip pens, as well as to digital media. Really great for doodling and just enjoying yourself.
