Thanks for all the feedback! This batch felt slightly worse in line quality, I'll definitely keep working on line quality. I fiddled around with the two methods of box making and to be honest I don't really know which one feels better to me yet (I probably just need to try the other method you mentioned a little more).

    Hello,

Thanks for the critiques! I was a little bit late on seeing the notification as I don't frequently check the DaB website so the revisions also took a bit longer. Sorry about that. But anyways, I just finished them today and you can access them through the same google drive link (here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1pUnKS4mA2BFldNx4Fsk5Iub0KIx7tRPP?usp=sharing) where the revisions should be at the very bottom.

Thanks a lot for hte additional critique! I'll try my best to not correct my initial marks moving forward, especially on the 250 box challenge (although I do notice that I still do it here and there). As for your suggestion about going over the ghostest planes and ellipses exercises, I am currently doing the ghosted planes and funnels exercise as warm-up (and will most likely continue to do so for a while). Thanks again for the critique!

Thx for the feedback! I will definitely try to complete the 250 boxes challenge.

    Thx!

PureRef

PureRef

This is another one of those things that aren't sold through Amazon, so I don't get a commission on it - but it's just too good to leave out. PureRef is a fantastic piece of software that is both Windows and Mac compatible. It's used for collecting reference and compiling them into a moodboard. You can move them around freely, have them automatically arranged, zoom in/out and even scale/flip/rotate images as you please. If needed, you can also add little text notes.

When starting on a project, I'll often open it up and start dragging reference images off the internet onto the board. When I'm done, I'll save out a '.pur' file, which embeds all the images. They can get pretty big, but are way more convenient than hauling around folders full of separate images.

Did I mention you can get it for free? The developer allows you to pay whatever amount you want for it. They recommend $5, but they'll allow you to take it for nothing. Really though, with software this versatile and polished, you really should throw them a few bucks if you pick it up. It's more than worth it.
