Thank you! :)
Thank you! :)
Hey!
Your superimposed lines look mostly good. I see that some flair out at the starting point. This probably means that you rushed some of them. I suggest taking some more time to position your pen correctly and you'll be good. Also some of the ghosted lines have a slight arch. There are two reasons for this, that I can think of. Firstly you might be forgetting to draw from the shoulder. Secondly, it could be that you have predisposition to arch your lines. This could be fixed by trying to arch the line i opposite direction then you are used to.
Ellipses in planes are a bit shaky. For now focus on making them smooth and accuracy will come later. Also in the table of ellipses exercise most are floating around. They should fit in smugly within the edges of the table. Maybe focus more on this exercise when doing warm ups.
Now let's go on to the boxes. Here I noticed you repeat some of your lines. In this course you should avoid it. This will teach you to make peace with mistakes and the form will appear more stable. It's okay if a line didn't come out accurately, this will improve as you practice. In rough perspective and rotated boxes exercises there are issues with construction, but it's okay since these exercises are meant to be difficult. This will improve as you move on to 250 boxes challenge.
Good luck!

I agree with the critique above, just want to add one small point.
I've noticed your ghosted lines have slight curve at the end. This probably means that your too focused on stopping the line at the end dot. At this point it's more important to draw a straight line (even if it goes a bis past the end point).
Your lines look good :).
As for ellipses, I can see they got a bit wobbly in the planes exercise. It's probably because you focused too much about fitting them in snugly. I'd suggest ghosting a bit more before putting down a mark. Once you start drawing, forget about ellipse fitting in perfectly and just focus on making a smooth mark. Your accuracy will improve with time as you continue to practice. Use ellipses in planes exercise as a warm up and the skill will come naturally.
Perspective exercises are hard to grasp. I get the dissatisfaction and desire to grind but you done well enough here. Your intuition and skill for perspective will be strengthened as you go trough 250 boxes challenge.
Good luck!

Thank you lots for critique! You made it easy to understand :))
If I remebmer correctly there is an article here adressing you concerns in faq section. In case you already read it I will share my opinion. I think the skills learnd in these lessons are essential basics. That makes them very trasfarable to any medium. Trough these lessons you train mind-muscle connection. After training you are able to execute the moves you intend to in your head more accuretly. That should also apply to any hand movements you do to draw on tablet. In addition lessons should improve your analitical observation skills. I believe this gives you more freedom to draw whatever you want, however you want. When you are able to understand forms you can manipulate them more easily and it alows for more flexibility and creativity.
I myself started not to long ago so I don't understand or know much yet. Still these are reasons I keep in mind when working up motivation to do this course, so I thought I'll share them. :)
When it comes to technical drawing, there's no one better than Scott Robertson. I regularly use this book as a reference when eyeballing my perspective just won't cut it anymore. Need to figure out exactly how to rotate an object in 3D space? How to project a shape in perspective? Look no further.
