Very insightful critique, thank you so much. You brought things to light that I didn't know were wrong and confirmed some of my suspicions. Thanks again!

    Awesome, thanks very much :)

I became very aware of me trying to keep my lines too parallel, causing them to diverge, when I got some mid way crit from a community member, but still fell into that trap now and then.

And yeah, the converging in pairs. I'm still yet to figure that out so thanks for the explanation on that. It's something I was also aware of but I always had one line diverging.

Thank you for the informative feedback! As this was my resub for my lesson 1, I had already completed my 250 a few months back so I assume I should do another 50 before I submit that for official critique?

    Thanks :)

Pentel Pocket Brush Pen

Pentel Pocket Brush Pen

This is a remarkable little pen. Technically speaking, any brush pen of reasonable quality will do, but I'm especially fond of this one. It's incredibly difficult to draw with (especially at first) due to how much your stroke varies based on how much pressure you apply, and how you use it - but at the same time despite this frustration, it's also incredibly fun.

Moreover, due to the challenge of its use, it teaches you a lot about the nuances of one's stroke. These are the kinds of skills that one can carry over to standard felt tip pens, as well as to digital media. Really great for doodling and just enjoying yourself.
