Thank you for taking the time to critique both my Lesson 2 and Lesson 4 homework. Your notes on my organic forms is appreciated and will help tremendously. I'll make sure to go over them to solidify my understanding and technique. I'll definitely use the discord server next time in case it takes a while to get critiques.

    Thanks again!

Thank you for taking the time to go over my submission. I'll definitely take into consideration easing up on the line weight and I appreciate the tips. It really helps out as I continue the lessons.

Thanks again and have a good one!

    Hello,

Thank you for the clarification about moving onto the next line if it doesn't meet the standards instead of drawing over lines. I tend to go over my lines sometimes when it's not right when I should just leave it instead. I'll make sure to keep that helpful tip in mind!

    Thanks again!

    Hello!

Thank you for taking the time to go over my work I truly appreciate it. Your comments really helped to solidify concepts from the lessons prior. Here is an additional 10 boxes with the link below. Most of the boxes I have tried to apply a extreme foreshortening, and I also tried adding line weight onto the boxes.

    Hey Mechacatfish,

Thanks again for your time and critique. I'll definitely be more conscious about the repeating line effect and only add line weight where there is overlap. Your feedback has been super helpful to me!

The recommendation below is an advertisement. Most of the links here are part of Amazon's affiliate program (unless otherwise stated), which helps support this website. It's also more than that - it's a hand-picked recommendation of something I've used myself. If you're interested, here is a full list.

A lot of my students use these. The last time I used them was when I was in high school, and at the time I felt that they dried out pretty quickly, though I may have simply been mishandling them. As with all pens, make sure you're capping them when they're not in use, and try not to apply too much pressure. You really only need to be touching the page, not mashing your pen into it.

In terms of line weight, the sizes are pretty weird. 08 corresponds to 0.5mm, which is what I recommend for the drawabox lessons, whereas 05 corresponds to 0.45mm, which is pretty close and can also be used.
