    Thank you so much for the critique!

    I'm glad I'm doing good enough to move on, and I'll be sure to include these things in my warm-ups.

    With my warm-ups, I'm going to focus on these steps;

    Arrows (with more foreshortening)

    Branches (with better overlaps of forms/ellipses)

    Leaves (Constructing the boundary first)

    As well, I'll be sure to focus on these

    • Make lineweight more subtle

    • Make only 3 Copies of the Demos, the rest must be from other reference

    • Draw through forms always, it improves spacial awareness

    • Improve textures, focus on conveying texture accurately through shapes, not making it look nice

    Thank you ThatOneMushroomGuy!

    Heya!

    Thank you for the critique, I've been working really hard on this and I'm happy to say that I've completed 15 more. I've tried to incorporate the feedback you gave into the newer ones, and it was a little difficult at first, but I'm happy with what I've made.

    Here's the link to the extra 15.

Pentel Pocket Brush Pen

Pentel Pocket Brush Pen

This is a remarkable little pen. Technically speaking, any brush pen of reasonable quality will do, but I'm especially fond of this one. It's incredibly difficult to draw with (especially at first) due to how much your stroke varies based on how much pressure you apply, and how you use it - but at the same time despite this frustration, it's also incredibly fun.

Moreover, due to the challenge of its use, it teaches you a lot about the nuances of one's stroke. These are the kinds of skills that one can carry over to standard felt tip pens, as well as to digital media. Really great for doodling and just enjoying yourself.
