Thank You!
Thank You!
Your lines are wobbling a lot please make sure to ghost multiple time before putting down the line (my rule of thumb is to ghost at least 3 times) also make sure your ghosting and putting down the line fast and confident to avoid wobble and remember you don't have to be 100 percent accurate just try to get good straight confident lines and same will apply to your eclipses, try to be confident and fast to avoid wobble and remember to ghost them as well
Summed up: Remember to ghost your lines and confidence over accuracy (ghosting more equals more accuracy while still keeping your lines straight and confident)and try to be faster to avoid wobble (of course not too fast but faster) and remember to use your whole arm (that does not include your wrist)
Also a reminder that the videos are the demonstration and the actual written part is the lesson, what you should be following (use both but the written part is always more important)
Next Steps:
Redo the lines portion of the lesson and do the eclipses part of the ghosted planes too before submitting homework for review again and then moving on to the 250 box challenge then lesson 2
-lines wobbled a little but not much especially later on just remember to do the line fast and confident you don't have to be perfectly accurate
-you did this minimally but you went over your lines a couple times
-Felt as if at some parts you weren't ghosting your lines enough, my rule of thumb is ghosting at least three times before you put the line down but I do 4 most of the time and also ghost fast to avoid wobble when u put down the line (put the line down fast as well don't just ghost fast then put the line down slowly, keep it consistent)
Overall good you followed instructions well and did the exercises pretty well much better than I did only a little problems with your lines
Next Steps:
You did pretty well so I would recommend you do the 250 box challenge then move on to lesson two AFTER completing the challenge, I recommend doing the challenge before lesson two for everybody
Every now and then I'll get someone asking me about which ruler I use in my videos. It's this Wescott grid ruler that I picked up ages ago. While having a transparent grid is useful for figuring out spacing and perpendicularity, it ultimately not something that you can't achieve with any old ruler (or a piece of paper you've folded into a hard edge). Might require a little more attention, a little more focus, but you don't need a fancy tool for this.
But hey, if you want one, who am I to stop you?
