Hello again, sorry for not understanding for so long. I think I've grasped what I was missing regarding the angles of the outermost ellipses. Please tell me if I'm on the right track. Thank you in advance, and again, sorry for being so difficult to correct.

    Hello,

I’m really sorry for the delay in sending this back

Here are the corrections you asked for.

I feel like I’m doing my best to train my brain to respond instinctively, but a part of conscious reasoning always comes back — especially when I review my work. I notice that even though I know right after drawing that the angle isn’t correct, I still struggle to get all my cylinders to have the right angle.

It feels like I’m trying to build a reflex that isn’t fully integrating into my drawing process yet.

If you have any advice, please let me know. I have absolutely no problem redoing the exercise — I’m willing to repeat it as many times as necessary until I truly understand what I’m missing in the construction of cylinders.

Could you guide me a bit?

Sorry for being so demanding.Excuse me for being so difficult

    have a great day

Hello, and thank you for your feedback. I understand the main mistakes, but I still need clarification about the far ellipse being narrower. I think I still misunderstand how the degree of the ellipse works. My intuition tells me that when a cylinder is pointing strongly toward a distant vanishing point, the far ellipse should become narrower. Could you explain why this is incorrect, and maybe show an example of what the ellipse should look like in a strong perspective situation?

Thank you again for your help. I want to make sure I understand these points before doing the revisions.

First of all, thank you for responding. Here are my revisions, what do you think about them?

I keep making a lot of mistakes even with your advice. Could you tell me how I can improve even more?

    Thank you in advance.

    Have a great day.

    Hello Dio,

First of all, thank you very much for your feedback, and I apologize for the many mistakes I made. They came from my enthusiasm when I saw my drawings starting to look like something, and I let myself get carried away by that feeling of satisfaction, forgetting the main goal of the exercise.

Over the past few days I’ve completed a new set of 6 animals, trying to apply each of the points you mentioned. I really need your feedback on this work and on how I can continue to improve my skills.

Without self-criticism, the main difficulty I encountered is that, despite doing a proper warm-up before each drawing, I still struggle a lot with making clean ellipses without my lines overlapping.

Thank you in advance for the time you’ll dedicate to reviewing my homework.

    Have a great day.

Hello, and thank you for your very detailed feedback.

I do have one question about the ninth paragraph, where you mention building the fluidity of the structure using organic forms. I understood the principle thanks to your explanation, but the example from Lesson 5 confused me. I can’t figure out where the first sausages are placed in the leg construction.

Everything else was very clear, so thank you again for your feedback.

Regarding my organic forms drawings, here is one of the three pages I redid. Could you confirm if I have correctly understood what you were explaining?

    Thanks in advance.

Thank you very much for your quick response. It was really helpful, I'll make sure to apply all your advice and submit 2 more pages ASAP (when I have more time to focus on it). Have a great day!

When it comes to technical drawing, there's no one better than Scott Robertson. I regularly use this book as a reference when eyeballing my perspective just won't cut it anymore. Need to figure out exactly how to rotate an object in 3D space? How to project a shape in perspective? Look no further.
