I understand what you mean about it not making a good example for the exericse. I'm still not sure how anyone would go about representing this as a texture. Thank you for your advice though.

Hey there!
When it comes to line weight, your concerns make perfect sense. Going over an entire line again to reinforce it is pretty nerve racking since it's so easy to mess up. Honestly, I'd say go for it, as you don't want to be scared of reinforcing your lines. It'll help you build confidence. As you reinforce your lines, you are definitely going to mess up, but it's alright to make mistakes as long as you focus on improving the next box.
Hope this helps you!
Thank you so much for your critique! Sorry for responding so late. Your criticisms were well thought out and I think you hit the mark perfectly on the things that I need to work on. Not only that, you were every polite in your wording.
Cool, thanks for your response.
For the rough perspective, I'd suggest that you ghost a line to the vanishing point. But instead of drawing a line, plot a dot. Plotting a dot ensures that the line that you draw doesn't point away from the vanishing point.
Alright. Appreciate your critique.
A lot of my students use these. The last time I used them was when I was in high school, and at the time I felt that they dried out pretty quickly, though I may have simply been mishandling them. As with all pens, make sure you're capping them when they're not in use, and try not to apply too much pressure. You really only need to be touching the page, not mashing your pen into it.
In terms of line weight, the sizes are pretty weird. 08 corresponds to 0.5mm, which is what I recommend for the drawabox lessons, whereas 05 corresponds to 0.45mm, which is pretty close and can also be used.
