    • Superimposed Lines

There is some mid line corrections being done here. Do not do this. Draw the lines confidently, even if you miss. If you wish for better accuracy then try this. Place your pen at a starting point, focus your attention at the end point, and then draw confidently to that point

    • Ghosted Lines

    Very well done

    • Ghosted Planes/Ellipses in Planes

Ghosted planes are acceptable. Try to remember to keep line confidence and draw straight even if you miss the end point. The ellipses in planes are very floaty. They should be touching all 4 sides. Most are correct but a few are short of the edge or vastly overshoot it. Ghost your ellipses to help with this

    • Tables of Ellipses

First page is a bit wobbly, visible improvement on the second and third page. Remember to ghost your movements before laying your pen to paper. It'll allow for much greater accuracy

    • Funnels

Your ellipses are good here. Just remember to ghost for better accuracy

    • Plotted Perspective

    Very well done

    Very well done

    • Rotated Boxes

    Very well done

    • Organic Perspective

Good but you seem to have started with squares in many instances. Refer back to the lesson and you'll see that a good suggestion for starting with boxes is "Y"s of various lengths. I would suggest you do the 250 boxes and it'll help with accuracy and perspective

    Next Steps:

Good job completing the homework! Start on the 250 box challenge to help you hone your sense of perspective

    Very well done

    • Ghosted Lines

    Very well done

    • Ghosted Planes

Well done. For the vertical and horizontal lines, remember that these are still to be seen as "In Perspective". You'll see much more accurate results in getting it centered when you do so.

    • Organic Boxes

The change in distance and perspective for your boxes is good. But your boxes seem wobbly and not three dimensional. You should remember that each of the vertices lie on a perspective plane and traveling towards a vanishing point, much like the previous perspective exercises. I think you've understood the assignment and should move forward. The 250 box challenge will help immensely in this regard

    Next Steps:

Very well done. Move on to the 250 box exercise to get your boxes down

    Super Imposed Lines Exercise

Draw straight and confident even if you miss. Frays are fine at this stage

A tip that'll help with ensuring your lines are both straight and accurate. Place your pen at the starting point, look where you want to draw, and then move your hand confidently to that point. You might need to start off with shorter lines and work your way up to larger ones but you'll notice the difference if you practice over the course of a few sheets of paper.

Obviously, you should be ghosting before you lay down any line but this will help with straight lines especially

You may also be sitting in an awkward position or not using your arm correctly

    Ghosted Lines Exercise

Same issue as before. Not straight and I see some correcting at the end. Keep it straight and confident even if you miss

    Ghosted Planes Exercise

Some improvement in your straight lines. Still some wobbliness visible

    Table of Ellipses Exercise

Much improved flow and confidence in line work. Good job

    Ellipses in Planes Exercise

You seem to have an issue with the top left section of your circles. You might be having a few issues here

    1. Ghost your lines. If you notice a weird hiccup in your ghosted lines you can prevent them being made when you make your mark

    2. Make sure you are sitting in a good position where you can make full use of your elbow and shoulder. Don't let yourself get stuck using your wrist, especially for circles and ellipses

Other than that, I think you understood the assignment. However, you are still lacking confidence in your strokes

    Funnels Exercise

Much improved flow and confidence here. Don't be afraid to vary the angle of your ellipses

    Plotted Perspective Exercise

    Very well done

    Rough Perspective Exercise

Well done. But remember to bring the lines to the horizon line only, don't waste time overshooting it

    Rotated Boxes Exercise

Well done. Just remember to use perspective lessons from earlier to help guide how the boxes should lay in relation to one another. They will help a great deal

    Organic Perspective Exercise

You should be imagining a box in free floating space with this exercise. Here, you should see if you can put the VP off in imaginary space and draw towards it for each side of the box and then the same for each additional box. The 250 box exercise will help you immensely with this

    Next Steps:

I won't ask for revisions here. But you should practice ghosting your lines as I think it'll help

    Overall, good work!

Like the Staedtlers, these also come in a set of multiple weights - the ones we use are F. One useful thing in these sets however (if you can't find the pens individually) is that some of the sets come with a brush pen (the B size). These can be helpful in filling out big black areas.

Still, I'd recommend buying these in person if you can, at a proper art supply store. They'll generally let you buy them individually, and also test them out beforehand to weed out any duds.
