You did a solid work! i don't have any critiques. maybe just try and get your elipsis a bit more confidently and precise.

    Next Steps:

    250 boxes! yay!

your lines seem confident but they tend to arch, your table of elixis is not respecting the assignment rules (all elipsis should touche to top and bottom end of the section and touch the other lateral elipsis, it is better on the second page.

Your boxes are better and the lines are better executed

    Next Steps:

I'd ask you for a page on table of elipsis keeping in mind the rules of the assignment.

    try to do them confidently

Your elipsis are good and seem confident and the lines you executed in your boxex exercises are well planned and done.

Your rotated box is really well done

    Next Steps:

250 box challeng! Off you go lad!

i'd recommend you to critique some lesson 1 submissions so you can compare and notice maybe some things that you are doing well and some that you aren't.

    Hi,

your superimposed lines are good, and your ghosted lines are ok, be mindful of starting them on the dot and not before or after it.

Your elipsis are confident but sometimes on the funnels the minor axis aren't aligned to eachother (not a dramatic error so don't worry)

Your organic boxes are good and you i can see that you ghosted the lines before executing them, your rotated box is good too!

Your other submission for the rough boxes is good!

    Next Steps:

Off you go to the 250box challenge! good job!

Your boxes are well done and the lines are executed correctly. your planes are neat but your elipsis inside them aren't that precise. On the table of elipsis not all of your elipsis touch both the top or the bottom of the area they are supposed to be in.

Your rotated boxes are well done!

    Next Steps:

in ordeer to improve your vanishing point direction of boxes, i'd recommend you to do the 250 box challenge. and maybe critique some user submissions of lesson 1 so that you can notice what you got wrong or they got wrong.

as the other user said please get the recomended pen or if you are stuck in quarantine like me use a ballpoint.

your lines and elipses are ok but try to align the degree of them.

    Next Steps:

I recommend the 250 boxes challenge

Your revision of rough boxes is ok, and your elipsis are good.

    Next Steps:

I wowuld recommend you to do the 250 box challenge and to try and ghost your lines when drawing boxes. try to find out where 2 sections intersect and put a dot there and draw the line

Color and Light by James Gurney

Color and Light by James Gurney

Some of you may remember James Gurney's breathtaking work in the Dinotopia series. This is easily my favourite book on the topic of colour and light, and comes highly recommended by any artist worth their salt. While it speaks from the perspective of a traditional painter, the information in this book is invaluable for work in any medium.
