Hello! im seeing a problem with your contour lines, something i like to refer to as the bean. The lines that go down in the middle have a hook shape. Don't do that. Make them go down from top to bottom in a perspective form. do not arch them. And the lines should almost never go straight down, they should have a curve to them that makes them look like its in good perspective to the viewer or it should somewhat look like a longer C.

Boxes: some of your boxes are out of perspective. I would practice drawing with a perspective line before doing it without one. and i would do it with a ruler aswell before going freehand. I know you're confident, but remember to slow down. Over confidence can lead to bad results

Hello! ill give you a little tip for super imposed lines. Remember, lines should be smooth and continuous. your lines are a bit wobbly meaning you are aren't confident or you're doing it to slowly. Try doing it a little bit faster, or a little bit slower, just right, but not to much. Everything else, you're on a role!

    Next Steps:

you should 100% go on to the 250 box challenge. Good luck!

The Art of Brom

The Art of Brom

Here we're getting into the subjective - Gerald Brom is one of my favourite artists (and a pretty fantastic novelist!). That said, if I recommended art books just for the beautiful images contained therein, my list of recommendations would be miles long.

The reason this book is close to my heart is because of its introduction, where Brom goes explains in detail just how he went from being an army brat to one of the most highly respected dark fantasy artists in the world today. I believe that one's work is flavoured by their life's experiences, and discovering the roots from which other artists hail can help give one perspective on their own beginnings, and perhaps their eventual destination as well.
