you don't need to draw a whole circle for your mark just a dot is enough~

keep practicing ghosted lines trust me once u nail it to level 3 line quality everything u draw then will look nice to you

same goes to ghosted planes (confident > everything) and execute it fast

to ellipses goes the same you need that confident too and you really need to draw it fast so those lines don't look wobble

funnels you gonna need to apply from narrow to wider (like a coin or cd as it turns you will see more side of it)

boxes~ right after you draw a line just leave it there don't be like ahh tilted a bit i'm gonna draw 1 more over it to make it stable . nono thats not good just leave it there and try too draw bigger like the whole page so u understand whats going on there

the organic perspective look like all those boxes are same size (rmb farthest the smaller , closer the bigger

don't need to be pretty but i want you to at least understand the concepts of all of it , building confidence , be bold whatever you put down, how everything can be manipulated in space.

    Next Steps:

DRAW GHOSTED PLANES FOR WARM UP

BCUZ FOR THE NEXT LESSON U WILL BE NEEDING DRAW AT LEAST 250 BOXES

NO WOBBLE IS THE KEY NOW AND BUILD UP YOUR CONFIDENCE TO PUT DOWN A NICE SMOOTH GOOD LOOKING LINE:)

    HELLO

Seems like your ghosted lines aren't straight and either didn't reach the mark it should be or over the mark it should be.

I wish you could practice it everytime before you start a section as warmup. You have to be very confident when the ntp of your pen touches the paper and do a quick (slightly faster) single stroke line with moving only your shoulder. But instead of doing ghosted lines I want you practice it as doing Planes , they are same but planes are just slightly complicated.

Ellipses looking clean but for the funnel part those ellipses all have the same degree the middle one is facing you by its side so it's 0 degree but as it turns you can see slightly bit around like 10 degree and so on ... 25 40... and it gets more and more facing towards you btw ellipses are looking good tho

boxes are bit weird tho but no worries in next section you'll be drawing 250 boxes so it'll get better in no time :D

    Next Steps:

    250boxes gogo

Organic forms are little bit wobble also with the contour curves and contour ellipses

be confidence on those curves and ellipses, don't need to add more line stroke over it . Whether it is looks bad or not one single stroke is enough .All important is that u aware the curves are run along the surface of the sausage-like stuff. It wraps around the sausage.

For contour ellipses just do what you did in lesson 1 , also be confidence . Ghosting first and then draw it confidently with moving only your shoulder and draw 2 times(no more than 2 times or less than).

1 page of each contour ellipses and curves is enough~~ :D

Organis arrow same goes as forms, not enough confidence .Plan it where the line sits in space and draw it fast like real fast and put some line weight at where they overlapping

for texture analysis you cna apply explicit to implict it shows on lesson 2 section u can re-read that part

you can dissect more parts at the dissection section, textures are rounding up the sausage well done but I see there's alot of scribbling are not related you are supposed to be learning that's not good you should be focus on what u are drawing and the point of learning

form intersection looks nicely done and organic's

    Next Steps:

Do 2 pages of organic arrows be confidence with the lines stroke overall nicely done

When finished, reply to this critique with your revisions.

    Sry for late reply !~

Thank You for giving a feedback fpr my homework

I forgot to take the photo of organic forms before I used it for the Dissection section

Will do more organic forms and arrows for warmup

and i took quite some time off after finished the 250 boxes , kinda losing the confidency

thats why some of the lines are scratchy ~~~

    well excellent work!

I think in the ellipse inside places section , you were trying too much on trying to touch all the corners

try change ur mindset , you want to draw an ellipse inside the plane instead of trying to touch those corners

also draw 2 times on ur ellipse dont do 3 times and make it fast. Confidence is the key here

practice a bit more line stroke i can see your lines on the boxes section are off.

this lesson is pretty much boosting up your confidency once u nail it u can draw a fine clean line

    overall good job

    Next Steps:

be ready for 250 boxes challenge

i recommend do some warmup before doing other homework or exercise

draw planes and then put ellipse in it for 15 - 20mins

    everything looks great

    a bit wobbling for ellipses

try having the confidence as u draw lines for ellipses

u will get clean smooth ellipse

    AH

    1) I can see your ghosting method for lines aren't connect to the mark where they are suppose to be...

either overpassed the mark or went into wrong direction

I suggest do some ghosting method : lines for warmup everyday

You'll see how great it is once u nail it, cuz basically everything need ghosting method

    2) Ellipses inside planes are pretty wobbling , don't focus too much on touching all the corner instead ghosting for few times and draw it once u feel the rhythm and also draw it fast. same thing goes for ellipses in rows and funnel.

This actually helps me built my confidence when drawing a ellipse.

3)boxes are the same as lines ghosting , practice more the ghosting method build up the muscle memory eventually every line u draw will be clean.

Overall , I just wanna say not enough confidence for lines just need to do it fast a bit cuz the slower u draw the wobbler it gets

    same goes for ellipse

    Next Steps:

just keep practicing ghosting method before u start to draw 250 boxes challenge and on the following day after u take a break

It's time to draw 250 boxes!!!

Thank You for pointing them out and sorry for some blur image quality

Will do even more rotated boxes as warm up routine

Pentel Pocket Brush Pen

Pentel Pocket Brush Pen

This is a remarkable little pen. Technically speaking, any brush pen of reasonable quality will do, but I'm especially fond of this one. It's incredibly difficult to draw with (especially at first) due to how much your stroke varies based on how much pressure you apply, and how you use it - but at the same time despite this frustration, it's also incredibly fun.

Moreover, due to the challenge of its use, it teaches you a lot about the nuances of one's stroke. These are the kinds of skills that one can carry over to standard felt tip pens, as well as to digital media. Really great for doodling and just enjoying yourself.
