Thanks !
Thanks !
Hello!
Thank you so much! I think I finally understand. I'm not sure if you want students to tackle this topic on their own, but I think you should explain in the lesson the direction of the light with the diagram you sent me. The rest was extremely well explained, as usual, but I don’t know why it takes me so long to understand. I think it’s just part of my personal journey. I have seen the video and I understand why you can explained with this accuracy.
I have a question about your last diagram. In the case of a hole, like in my last texture, when the black goes on the wall and on the top surface, it’s definitely a form shadow, right?
See you soon! You are amazing!
Adrien
Read and understood thanks !
Thanks !
Thanks ! Understood ! I have thought exactly to that solution for the plane.
And what about example with the bump on the curvilinear surface ?
Best regards !
Adrien
Thank you really much. Each time I am blown away how well you explain things. You definitly set my level of drawing higher than anyone else !
Hello !
Thanks I get it a lot better. But is it enough ?
Best regards !
Adrien
Good morning !
Alright ! I have understood what I have missed. You answered well to my questions thanks !
I think the mouse demo was confusing for me to really get the concept. It drive me on a bad way and make me lose the focus.
I will use one pen for the additional work. But just for my understanding, when you speak about different colours I should use the exact same model of pen but in different colors, was it my mistake ?
Best regards,
Adrien MEURET
Thanks !
Thanks a lot ! You answered my questions. Sorry for the bad english !
This is a remarkable little pen. I'm especially fond of this one for sketching and playing around with, and it's what I used for the notorious "Mr. Monkey Business" video from Lesson 0. It's incredibly difficult to draw with (especially at first) due to how much your stroke varies based on how much pressure you apply, and how you use it - but at the same time despite this frustration, it's also incredibly fun.
Moreover, due to the challenge of its use, it teaches you a lot about the nuances of one's stroke. These are the kinds of skills that one can carry over to standard felt tip pens, as well as to digital media. Really great for doodling and just enjoying yourself.
I would not recommend this for Drawabox - we use brush pens for filling in shadow shapes, and you do not need a pen this fancy for that. If you do purchase it, save it for drawing outside of the course.
