Hi there! New student here.

I would like to express my appreciation for the creator and the maintainers of this website. As a 19 year old that has never drawn anything more than a rectangle + traingle combo of a house in his child, and not associating their identity as someone who "draws", this place gives me a lot of hope. Consolidated information like this is sometimes taken for granted on the internet, so I wanted to say thanks.

Here's a complete submission of Lesson 1's homeworks. I would appreciate if someone more experienced catches any glaring flaws that might be a problem down the line, if not I'll continue onwards towards the 250 box challenge.

As a side note, I'm in Iran so Imgur is blocked and doesn't work for me. I chose an alternative to Imgur. Let me know if that is acceptable in this community and if not are there any recommendations?

And lastly, Thank you to the people who took their precious time and sorted through my excercises.

The recommendation below is an advertisement. Most of the links here are part of Amazon's affiliate program (unless otherwise stated), which helps support this website. It's also more than that - it's a hand-picked recommendation of something I've used myself. If you're interested, here is a full list.
Color and Light by James Gurney

Color and Light by James Gurney

Some of you may remember James Gurney's breathtaking work in the Dinotopia series. This is easily my favourite book on the topic of colour and light, and comes highly recommended by any artist worth their salt. While it speaks from the perspective of a traditional painter, the information in this book is invaluable for work in any medium.
