Thanks
Hi, JPEACE! Congrats on finishing 250 boxes challenge!
You free handed them??? WOW. I actually went on a hunt to find some wobbliness in your boxes to confirm you didn’t use rules for everything ^__^’’
Your boxes look great, I can only recommend to practice more boxes in shallow perspective during your warm ups as them are the most useful ones for actual drawings.
You didn't use hatching lines or lineweight which is acceptable for this challenge but I would recommend doing them in warm ups as it's both additional practice (more lines to draw!) and necessary thing in future lessons to separate forms from each other, for example in Form Intersection exercise in Lesson 2.
So, I think you did very well and are ready for the Lesson 2, good luck!
Next Steps:
Continue with Lesson 2.
Right from when students hit the 50% rule early on in Lesson 0, they ask the same question - "What am I supposed to draw?"
It's not magic. We're made to think that when someone just whips off interesting things to draw, that they're gifted in a way that we are not. The problem isn't that we don't have ideas - it's that the ideas we have are so vague, they feel like nothing at all. In this course, we're going to look at how we can explore, pursue, and develop those fuzzy notions into something more concrete.
