Lesson 2: Contour Lines, Texture and Construction
2:27 PM, Tuesday November 21st 2023
Hey, I just finished lesson 2 assignments several hours ago. Now, I'm very open to receiving critiques and have some questions to ask.
I started to learn to draw again in February this year and getting too serious about it. I had tons of problems: I was overthinking, overdrawing, and learning too much but still had no idea about my artwork, etc. Thanks to this Box Website I'm slowly getting out of it, drawing for the sake of drawing, the 50% rule thing. But, there's still one thing: I don't know how to take note as an art student.
I'm currently working on Draw A Box, Proko Basics, and previously, two figure drawing courses by Brent Eviston. All the information is in my head, I can recall it when I need but sometimes it's a total mess and I don't know what to do, or why should I draw it like that.
-
I don't know what to write down.
-
How to note-taking?
-
Or, should I note-taking or not?
-
Or the total mess in my head is totally normal and I should go back to the source material to re-learn the piece of information I need?
If you have any idea how to solve this problem, please let me know. This question seems not relate to Draw A Box lesson, so you can feel free to skip it, thank you.
